Privacy
Last updated: __DATE__. This is the privacy notice for the Sahaj beta.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your WhatsApp number and the three answers you give in the chat (name, what you want to use Sahaj for, your city). Reply CANCEL in the chat to remove them.
- In the chat: your WhatsApp number, the messages you send, voice notes (turned into text and then discarded), and the things you ask it to remember.
- If you connect Google: access to your Calendar (and Gmail if you connect it), through Google's sign-in. Tokens are stored encrypted.
- In groups: only messages that mention Sahaj or reply to it, and notes from those. Nothing else in the group is read or stored.
What we do with it
We use it to run the assistant for you. Your messages are sent to an AI model provider to produce replies, and web questions go to a search provider. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Your private chat is never shown in a group.
Your control
You can see everything it remembers on your settings page (ask "open my settings" in the chat), forget individual items, switch off reminders, and delete all your data. The person who added Sahaj to a group can erase that group's data and remove it. Message us at __CONTACT_EMAIL__ for anything else.
Where it is kept
On a server in India. Backups are encrypted. Logs do not contain your message text or phone number.
Google data
Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google data only to do what you ask in the chat, and we ask you to confirm before anything is sent or created.
Children
Sahaj is for people aged 18 and over.
